There is a BIG Hitch 50 'State 49' Bash in L.A. on Monday
"The Whole Gang" including me and Dom and a whole bunch of others'll be in L.A. to try and help get Scotty and Fiddy to Hawaii by Nov 28th, the 50 day deadline. (They left Times Square with not much more than their thumb, and a goal to hitchhike to all 50 states in 50 days - read more about it at www.hitch50.com if you have no idea what I'm talking about...)
If you can make it to the party, awesome!
Where: Carpe DM Bar
When: Monday Nov 27 2006 8:00 PM
Most specific where: 5710 E. Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93063 - map
Cost: $10
The band Fermata will play, half of the ticket price will go to the "Help Scotty and Fiddy get to Hawaii fund." All proceeds beyond that will go to something really, really, cool.
See ya there! - Kyle

A video of my mom cutting my hair when I was like three years old
She cut my hair last Saturday. I'm still fascinated by hairbrushes.

A lot of things happened when I wasn't writing blog posts on this blog
Barcelona
First off, do you digg photoshop challenges? With prizes? You do? Great. Click here and digg it!
Received this in the ol' email box yesterday:
Yesterday, in the Auditorium of Barcelona (Spain), the Catalonian Open University (UOC) delivered diplomas to the new graduates. I received my diploma of software ingeneer, with on red paper clip! Before ending the ceremony, the Rector's University explained your history and told us that from now on, everything is possible for us, we just have to beleive in our dreams, as you made. I will always keep this red paperclip with me to remember the message. Astrid.
So that ruled. Way to go Astrid!
Have fun - Kyle

The Greatest 56 minutes of your life
This is the broadcast of the TV show "Unbelievable" on Fuji TV in Japan back in May. Six parts. Re-enactments. Graphics. Surprised audience. Japanese subtitling. Pretty unbelievable stuff. I officially declare this the greatest hour of television ever produced. Well, besides that episode of America's Funniest Home Videos episode where they Bob Saget gave 100 000 dollars to the outfielder who caught that home run ball and fell over the chain link fence and got hung up by his underwear. I think he was from Montana.

PBS
I was asked to write a review for Antiques Roadshow by PBS. They sent me a super special pre-broadcast sneak preview DVD in the mail. I opened the package. I watched the show. I wrote about it. It was thoroughly enjoyable. You can read about it here:

Oh, and it turns out quite a few people went to Dom's blog, even though I pleasantly asked them not to go there yet. Shame, shame.

Dom has a blog
But she's nervous and shy about it. She asked me not to let anyone know about it. Yet. So whatever you do, please do not click here.
thanks,

Scotty and Fiddy are going to Alaska
The best part is that they have no idea how they'll get back to the lower 48.
